The Ilopango Air Show 2024 is a must-see if you love thrill and excitement. Every year, hundreds of Salvadorans gather at the Ilopango airport to witness a spectacle full of aerobatics, fireworks, and various types of airplanes.

The show, which has become a tradition for Salvadorans, will take place next February. During a press conference on this day, the organizers revealed the details.

"We are proud to present the Ilopango Air Show 2024, titled 'The Magic of Adrenaline,' which will bring a lot of fun and wholesome entertainment to Salvadoran families. It will be a top-notch show with entertainment in the air and on the ground, so we invite you to attend on February 17 and 18 and contribute to the Intensive Care Unit of the Benjamin Bloom Children's Hospital," said Francisco Sol, president of the Organizing Committee of the Ilopango Air Show 2024, at the launch.

Tickets are available for purchase at Smart Ticket. The pre-sale cost is $12 for adults and $6 for children, plus a ticketing fee. Parking can also be purchased in advance for $3.25.

On the day of the event, tickets will cost $13 for adults and $7 for children, plus a ticketing fee.

As a novelty, this year, there will be a hot air balloon and a dirigible, and according to the organizers, there will be raffles for those who wish to fly over El Salvador in these. Another novelty will be an exhibition match of the National Beach Soccer Team, a Motocross show, and a play area for children. Music will be provided by the New Hampshire National Band and a surprise musical group. There will also be a food court, and to end both days, there will be fireworks displays.

The air show is a unique experience that combines the skill of pilots with the beauty of airplanes in full flight. From fighter jets to aerobatic planes, the sky is filled with colors and sounds that will leave you breathless.

This show originated in 1996, in the heart of the El Salvador Aeroclub, and the first air show took place in 1997.
