Children, teenagers, and adults will be able to
participate in various art disciplines. In addition, CENAR will provide a
special workshop for people working with early childhood.
The Ministry of Culture, through the National
Directorate of Houses of Culture and Cultural Parks, invites the Salvadoran
population to be part of different artistic workshops.
According to the Ministry, these training workshops
have been made available for children, youth, and adults in houses of culture
in the departments of La Libertad, San Salvador, Chalatenango, La Paz, and
Cuscatlán.
These courses will be offered in the months of April
and June of the current year free of charge for all those who wish to refine
their knowledge or skills in various art disciplines.
Among the workshops to choose from are painting,
drawing, engraving, theater, keyboard, guitar, batucada, masks and vases with
recycled paper, stilts, marimba, literature in integral braille language, folk,
modern and historical dance, and many more.
It is worth noting that not all workshops will be
available in all houses of culture, so people should approach each institution
in their district to find out what is offered there and choose the one they
like the most.
On the other hand, the National Arts Center (CENAR)
urges teachers, parents, and caregivers of early childhood to participate in
the workshop called "Art and Meditation," which will be provided free
of charge on the 15th, 17th, 22nd, and 24th of April of the current year.
The workshop will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. People
must register in person at CENAR, from Monday to Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00
p.m.
"During the course, artistic tools will be practiced that will help parents, teachers, and caregivers address stress situations that help infants relax, to combat anxieties and fears through art," detailed the Ministry.
