The El Salvador Construction Company reported on
the completion of the project "Underground Channeling and Connections for
Electrical and Telecommunications Distribution Networks in the Zona Rosa of San
Salvador." This project involved removing poles that supported the wiring
in the area and constructing boxes or pits for placing cables underground.
The work, which was carried out by the El Salvador
Construction Company, extended from the Brazil round about to the Italy
roundabout in the Zona Rosa. The project also covered La Revolución Avenue,
from the Italy roundabout to Manuel Enrique Araujo Boulevard, and Las Magnolias
Avenue, including the roundabout on La Capilla Avenue.
With both daytime and nighttime schedules, the
crews worked on excavation and the installation of precast cement boxes or pits
where the electrical and telecommunications cables are now located.
Electromechanical work was also
performed by the electrical distribution companies and
telecommunications companies.
"Now, the residents of the capital city can enjoy this completely renovated space," the construction company reported, marking the completion of the work on the evening of Wednesday, November 8th.”
