As part of the festivities in honor of the Queen of Peace, the San
Miguel Festivities Committee is finalizing details for the grand carnival in
San Miguel. The date for the grand San Miguel Carnival, the closing event of
the patron saint celebrations in honor of the Queen of Peace, is approaching
and is set to take place on November 25.
Therefore, the Municipal Festivities Committee of the City Council
continues with the logistical preparations of stages to avoid inconveniences on
the day of the event. "There are three stages. The first is the Juan
Francisco Barraza Stadium, the other is the Miguel Félix Charlaix Stadium, and
finally, the Bullring. This logistics allows us to assess the locations of the
stages to consider safety aspects for both the artists and the event
attendees," explained Margarita Moreno, manager of the Festivities
Committee. She also detailed three other aspects they have considered in the
pre-visualization. One of them is to measure the capacity of each stage; secondly,
to determine the coverage and support from the Armed Forces and the National
Civil Police on the day of the event; and thirdly, the access points, where the
organizing committee must maintain surveillance and control to avoid
inconveniences, as these are places to be used for the first time for this type
of event.
"At the Barraza Stadium, there will be the Primavera ensemble,
Guardianes del Amor, Los Ángeles Negros, El Grupo Miramar, and Grupo Kráter,
and precisely in this place, we have analyzed that the capacity exceeds the
number of visitors. These are details that, through this technical visit, we
are fine-tuning to position the best place for the stage, taking into account
all the aspects I mentioned earlier," added the Committee manager.
They also considered marking the entrances and emergency exits. Still, for the success of this logistics for everyone's safety, the organizers recommended avoiding exposing children to crowds, as the areas of international artists are usually the most.
