This is the second cultural festival held by the DOM (Dirección Nacional de Obras Municipales) in the caserío El Mozote, after the participation of the Military Music Band of the National Navy on February 24, which was attended by the inhabitants of the area, as well as national and foreign tourists.

Since the beginning of his government, the President has demonstrated with facts his firm decision to turn El Mozote into an example of development for El Salvador and Latin America.

With a treatment of absolute respect and compliance from President Bukele, the DOM crews delivered at the end of 2022 the first phase of the project consisting of the revitalization of the memorial square, the parish and the kindergarten.

At the beginning of 2023, the construction of an Urban Center for Wellbeing and Opportunities, known as CUBO, an amphitheater, as well as a commercial and gastronomic plaza, will begin.

With these works, not only is El Mozote being renovated, but also jobs are being created, spaces that contribute to the improvement of living conditions, entrepreneurship and healthy coexistence of the inhabitants of this place in the eastern part of the country.
